A granite filial church from the 13th century in Cedynia municipality, with pointed-arch portals and a gable decorated with blind arches.
The Church of St James the Apostle in Golice is a small filial church in Cedynia municipality, built in the second half of the 13th century of regularly dressed granite blocks.
The building has a rectangular plan with a separate chancel. The west wall has a pointed-arch portal with three steps, and the south wall a second one with two steps. In the east gable there is a pointed niche with blind arches and a rose window, and at its top a metal Maltese cross with the date 1662. The former tower, with an 18th-century wooden upper part, burned down in a fire in 1972 and was not rebuilt; of its lower storey, narrow slit windows remain on either side of the west gable. It was blessed as a Catholic church in 1947.
The parish is in Cedynia, at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
