A half-timbered branch church in Dołgie on the plan of an elongated octagon, with a bulbous tower helm roof and a Baroque altar from the 18th century.
The Church of St John the Baptist in Dołgie is a half-timbered branch church of the parish of St Stanislaus in Zarańsko, in Drawsko Pomorskie municipality. The Wikipedia entry on the village dates the construction to 1614-1645, and the heritage register to the 18th century.
The church is a hall building on the plan of an elongated octagon. On the west side adjoins a quadrangular tower built into the façade, topped with a bulbous helm roof with a lantern, and above it an onion-shaped helm roof with a weathervane bearing the date 1701. A Baroque high altar from the 18th century has survived, as well as a Neo-Gothic metal crucifix from the second half of the 19th century.
After the Second World War the church was unused and was blessed only in 1969 as a Roman Catholic church. The entry on the village states that in 2017 it was closed because of its poor technical condition. It was entered in the heritage register in 1960.
