A filial church from the second half of the 15th century in Marianowo municipality, with a tower, a 17th-century triptych and a pulpit.
The Church of St John the Evangelist in Dzwonowo was built in the second half of the 15th century of stone and brick. It is a filial church of the parish in Gogolewo.
The building stands on a rectangular plan and has a tower to the west with a spire topped by a cross. On the ground floor of the tower there is a pointed-arch entrance portal in a recess, between two blind arches; the upper parts are decorated with late medieval details and small windows. In the 19th century an apse was added to the east wall. The interior is covered with a wooden beamed ceiling. A 17th-century altar triptych with scenes of the Passion painted on wood has survived, as has a Mannerist pulpit from the same century. Two bells of 1920 hang in the tower. The church was consecrated as a Catholic church on 27 December 1947.
From Dzwonowo it is not far to the monastery complex in Marianowo.
