Branch church in Małkocin from the 15th century, rebuilt in 1854 after a fire, with a Gothic font and 19th-century pews.
The Church of St Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Małkocin, in a village in Stargard municipality, was built in the 15th century. It is built of stone and brick, entered in the heritage register, and belongs to the parish of St Michael the Archangel in Poczernin.
In 1598 the church was destroyed by fire. It was rebuilt only in 1854. It is a hall building on a rectangular plan, with an added tower. The tower has a pointed, stepped entrance portal, and its gables and second storey are decorated with brick blind arches. A bell of 1594 hangs in the tower.
The ceiling is flat and plastered. A 19th-century gallery, pulpit and pews have survived, and from earlier times a Gothic limestone font and a crucifix. Stained-glass windows have been set into the windows. In the churchyard cemetery stands a black granite monument to those who fell in the First World War. The church was consecrated as a Catholic church in 1945.
