Brick filial Church of St Lawrence from 1880 in Nakielno, entered in the heritage register together with the churchyard.
The filial Church of St Lawrence in Nakielno, a village in Wałcz municipality, was built in 1880 of brick. The Wikipedia entry describes it as Neo-Gothic, and the heritage register as Neo-Romanesque.
The church was entered in the heritage register in 2010 together with the churchyard. Nakielno has existed since at least the mid-14th century: a document of 1349 records it as Nakel and mentions a parish of its own there. The village was a noble property and in the 16th century belonged to the Tuczyński family.
Besides the church, the register includes here a palace park from the first half of the 19th century, a distillery with a manor granary from the second half of the 19th century and a half-timbered arcaded house from 1748.
The nearest natural feature is Lake Bytyń Wielki, about 3 km from the village.
