The Church of St Martin the Bishop in Podwilcze is a Gothic church of fieldstone, with a tower from the turn of the 16th century and a bell of 1567. It was originally Protestant, and today it is a branch church in Białogard municipality and a registered monument.
The tower dates from the 15th or 16th century, and the nave was built after 1891. The tower is of natural fieldstone on lime mortar, and the nave, both outside and inside, is entirely of brick. The church is surrounded by a stone wall, in part of which a small shrine with a figure of the Virgin Mary is set. The feast day falls on 11 November, the feast of the patron saint.
The furnishings include an Art Nouveau stained-glass window from the first half of the 20th century, ceiling decoration, an organ gallery with a harmonium from around 1900, a Baroque font of the 17th century, a crucifix from around 1900 and a Renaissance bell of 1567. There is also a church gate grille from around 1900, the retable of the high altar from the 1930s and a holy water stoup from the 1890s.
Only 300 m further on stands the palace in Podwilcze.
