A half-timbered church of 1742-1744 by Lake Radacz, formerly Protestant, today dedicated to St Maximilian Kolbe.
The half-timbered church by Lake Radacz stands in the eastern part of the village in Borne Sulinowo municipality. It was built in 1742-1744 as a Protestant church, today it is Roman Catholic and bears the dedication to St Maximilian Kolbe.
The church was founded by Lieutenant General Henning Alexander von Kleist as a votive gift for the victory at Małujowice in 1741, during the First Silesian War. Until the end of the Second World War it served Protestants, then it was a store of the state farm (PGR) and fell into ruin. The parish took it over in 1975, and after conservation work it was consecrated on 7 December of the same year.
It is a single-volume building with a post-and-frame structure, with a tower topped with a spire; the present brick tower is Neo-Baroque. The door of 1744 and the structure of the gallery from the same year have survived, and in the tower a bell of 1891 from the Voss und Sohn foundry in Szczecin. The former pulpit was built from three coaches captured in 1741 in Oława, and in 1945 it went to Wilanów. Right next to it stands the palace in Radacz.
