A Baroque brick church from 1711 in Zatoń Dolna, on an oval plan, with a wooden bell turret.
The Church of St Maximilian Maria Kolbe in Zatoń Dolna, in Chojna municipality, was built in 1711. It is a branch church of the parish in Krajnik Górny. It is Baroque and has an unusual oval plan.
The walls were built of brick. On the west side is an entrance vestibule, and the doors and windows have round arches. At the beginning of the 19th century a wooden bell turret with a pointed spire topped by a ball with a cross was added to the roof.
The ceiling is wooden, and the walls and vault are painted cream. From the entrance the choir can be seen, with wooden supports and a balustrade. In the altar, decorated with carved ornaments, there is a painting of St Maximilian Maria Kolbe, and on either side are windows with stained glass. The church was consecrated as a Catholic one on 8 December 1977.
