A Neo-Romanesque stone and brick church from 1842, with a wooden tower and a Baroque altar.
The Church of St Stanislaus Kostka in Ościęcin was built in 1842 in the Neo-Romanesque style, as a Protestant church. It is a branch of the parish of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Świeszewo, in Gryfice municipality, and it is entered in the heritage register.
The building is of stone and brick, single-nave, on a rectangular plan, with a tiled roof. A wooden tower on a square plan is set in the roof slope, turning octagonal in its upper part and ending in a pointed spire. The windows, closed with pointed arches, are filled with leaded glass.
The ceiling is wooden and beamed; above the entrance is a wooden choir gallery with a devastated organ case. In the small chancel stands a Baroque altar with paintings of St Stanislaus Kostka and Our Lady of Częstochowa. A fragment of a Baroque pulpit and pews have also survived. The church was blessed as a Catholic church on 1 December 1945.
Nearest is the Gołczewskie Uroczysko Nature Reserve, about 3 km away.
