A half-timbered parish church of 1838 in Białogórzyno, with a tower of 1935, an altar of 1914 and bells of 1842 and 1925.
The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Białogórzyno (Białogard municipality) is a half-timbered building with a post-and-frame structure, completed in 1838. It is entered in the heritage register.
The money for the construction came from the von Bonin family and from a loan granted by King Frederick William III. It was initially a Protestant church, and after the Second World War Catholics took it over. It was established as a parish church on 23 June 1957. The heritage register calls the technique Fachwerk (mur pruski).
The church has the plan of a closed rectangle, without a separate chancel, and a gabled roof. The tower was added in 1935. Bells of 1842 and 1925 hang in the tower. The historic elements of the interior are the organ gallery supported on posts, the metal door fittings, a font from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and a 19th-century chandelier. The high altar of 1914, resembling a triptych in form, was moved from the church in Drawsko Pomorskie.
In the area lies the Amber Palace in Strzekęcino, about 5.5 km from here.
