Half-timbered branch church in Marwice from the first half of the 19th century, with a wooden tower, a neo-Gothic altar and a bell of 1834.
The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Marwice is a historic branch church in half-timbered technique, on a rectangular plan. The nave is covered with a gable roof, there are two portals, one in the gable wall and one at the side, and the windows in the side walls are closed with a pointed arch.
On the west side a wooden tower is set into the body under a hipped roof with a cross at the top. The heritage register dates the construction to 1827, and the Wikipedia entry to 1834.
The interior has a flat ceiling, and a gallery resting on pillars runs around the walls. In the chancel stands a neo-Gothic altar of 1834, originally of the pulpit type, today with a modern figure of the Virgin. In the tower hangs a bell of 1834. After the war the church was blessed as a Catholic church in 1946.
Nearby stands the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Dębogóra.
