A Neo-Gothic brick parish church of 1866 in Ryszewko, with a five-sided apse, a tower with a lantern and Neo-Baroque furnishings.
The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Ryszewko (Pyrzyce municipality, Pyrzyce County) is a Neo-Gothic brick building of 1866. It is a parish church and appears in the heritage register.
The church stands on a rectangular plan and is closed on the east by a five-sided apse with a rib vault, to which a sacristy was added. The east gable has a stepped form and is decorated with blind arches with tracery ornament. The windows in the apse are pointed, and the stained glass in the windows was made in 1985. To the west adjoins a four-storey tower with a pointed portal, an oculus and clock faces. It is covered with a tall spire with a lantern.
The ceiling is wooden. The 19th-century Neo-Baroque furnishings have survived: an altar, a pulpit with reliefs of the Evangelists supported on a pillar, a choir gallery and pews. After the Second World War the church was consecrated as a Catholic church on 15 August 1948, and it has been a parish church since 1959.
Nearby stand the Church of the Most Holy Saviour in Turze, about 2 km from here, and the Church of St John the Baptist in Żabów.
