A Gothic parish church from the 15th century, destroyed by fire in 1964 and rebuilt by 1968, with historic liturgical vessels.
The Church of the Holy Cross in Nawodna, in Chojna municipality, was built in the 15th century. It is a Gothic hall building of fieldstone, entered in the heritage register. Since 1951 a parish has been based here, to which the church in Lisie Pole also belongs.
The church has a rectangular plan and no separate chancel. The east gable is decorated with blind arches. To the west adjoins a tower from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. In the 19th century the church was rebuilt.
After the war the church was consecrated as a Catholic church in July 1946. In 1951 the parish was established, and a year later Salesian priests came to it. On 17 December 1964 the building was destroyed by fire, and after rebuilding it was blessed again on 10 August 1968.
The interior is covered with a barrel vault. In the chancel hangs a cross made from the beams of the former ceiling destroyed in the fire. At the back stands a gallery with a wooden balustrade, supported on piers. Of the former furnishings, a Gothic chalice with a paten, a chalice of 1707 and a monstrance of 1701 have survived.
Less than a kilometre away stands the church in Garnowo, and about three kilometres further the church in Lisie Pole. It is about six kilometres from here to Chojna.
