Neo-Romanesque church of 1923 in Szczecinek, until 1945 the only Catholic church in the town, next to the Redemptorist monastery.
The Church of the Holy Spirit in Szczecinek was built in 1923 in the neo-Romanesque style to a design by the engineer C. Kuhn, through the efforts of local Catholics. It was called the Polish Church, and until 1945 it was the only Catholic church in the town. It was consecrated on 20 December 1923 by Cardinal Adolf Bertram of Wrocław.
From 1945 to 1973 the church had the status of a rectoral church, and since 1973 it has again been a parish church, in the Szczecinek deanery of the Koszalin-Kołobrzeg diocese. In 2002 it was rebuilt to a design by Joanna Sapiecha-Kopicka and her husband. Next to it stands a Redemptorist monastery.
