Branch church in Sokolniki from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, with a brick tower of the 19th century and a baroque pulpit.
The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Sokolniki was built of erratic boulders at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. It has a rectangular plan and a gable roof. The east gable is decorated with blind arches and pinnacles, and in the south wall is an 18th-century portal.
In the 19th century a three-storey brick tower on a square plan, supported by buttresses, was added on the west side. At its base it has a pointed portal with four steps, on the third storey large louvred bell openings, and in the gable, topped with wimpergs and small turrets, clock faces. The tower is covered by a slender, octagonal helmet.
The ceiling is wooden, of beams. On the west wall is a gallery with an organ case, and the church has preserved a baroque pulpit and a sacrament niche with a small door. A sculpture of the Madonna and Child from around 1400, coming from this church, is displayed in the National Museum in Szczecin. The church was blessed as a Catholic church on 23 June 1946.
In Maszewo municipality stands the Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa.
