Stone-and-brick filial church in Słutowo from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, rebuilt in 1976-1980.
The Church of the Transfiguration stands in Słutowo, a village in Recz municipality in Choszczno County. It is a stone-and-brick church from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, rebuilt after the destruction of 1945. Today it is a filial church of the parish of Christ the King in Recz.
The church was built of stone and brick on a rectangular plan. A stone tower under a gable roof adjoins it at the west, and the entrance portal is of brick. The interior is covered with a wooden beam ceiling. The heritage register dates the building to the 16th century and enters it in the list of immovable monuments, and gives its style as undetermined.
In 1861 the church was renovated. In 1945 it was destroyed and in the following years it fell into ruin: the altar and the historic epitaphs were lost, and the font was moved to the church in Wełtyń. The rebuilding took place in 1976-1980, and the consecration was performed on 1 May 1983 by Bishop Stanisław Stefanek.
