A forest reserve from 1985 in Cedynia Landscape Park, with monumental oaks, pines and trails to the Twin Boulders.
The Dąbrowa Krzymowska reserve is a forest nature reserve established on 11 April 1985 in Chojna municipality, in the Piaskowa Forest on the Krzymów Hills. It lies in Cedynia Landscape Park and is managed by the Chojna Forest District. It covers about 35 hectares.
The aim of protection is to preserve natural fragments of acidophilous oak wood with wood small-reed, with monumental sessile oaks and pines. Some of the pines have a rarely seen bark with transverse cracks, called streaked or frilled, and the age of the oldest trees is estimated at 250-400 years. The highest elevation in the area, Zwierzyniec, is 167 metres above sea level.
Just beyond the south-eastern edge of the reserve stand the Twin Boulders (Głazy Bliźniaki), a natural monument: the larger Szeroki Kamień (circumference 25 m, height 4.4 m) and the smaller Mały Kamień. Trails cross beside them: the red Oder Valley Trail, the blue Terminal Moraine Hills Trail and the black, 7.5-kilometre Trail to the Twin Boulders from Krzymów. In the vicinity lie the Church of St Joseph in Krzymów and the Słoneczne Wzgórza reserve.
