Hetman Stefan Czarniecki Trail

The Hetman Stefan Czarniecki Trail is a red hiking trail in the West Pomeranian and Lubusz voivodeships, maintained by PTTK (Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society). It begins in Stargard and ends in Kostrzyn nad Odrą.

Route

The trail leads through the Pyrzyce Plain, Ińsko Landscape Park, Drawa National Park and Drawa Forest, and then through Barlinek Forest and the Gorzów Plain. In the West Pomeranian part it passes in turn Pęzino, Marianowo, Szadzko, Dobrzany, Recz and Drawno.

The further section leads through Stare Osieczno, Strzelce Krajeńskie, Santoczno, Gorzów Wielkopolski and Witnica to Kostrzyn nad Odrą, already outside our region.

Practical information

• The start is in Stargard, where the trail passes buildings of the Old Town.
