Park in the Beech Forest in Prawobrzeże, with old-growth beeches, exotic trees and the ruins of a manor.
Klęskowo Forest Park is a 23-hectare recreation area in the right-bank part of Szczecin (Prawobrzeże), in the undulating part of the Beech Forest, between the Bukowe and Słoneczne estates. It is part of the Szczecin Forests promotional forest complex.
A hundred-year-old beech forest with an admixture of oaks predominates here, reaching 30 metres in height. In the north-western part, on the hospital side, there is a pine forest. In the south-west, in the Chojnówka valley, black alder and the rarer grey alder can be found. The park also has numerous exotic trees, including ginkgo, shagbark hickory, American beech, Caucasian fir and false cypresses.
At the eastern edge of the park, next to the church, are the ruins of the manor of the Dohrn family, who came to Szczecin in 1790. Along the restored paths benches and shelters have been placed, fire sites have been marked out and playgrounds for children set up.
