A stone filial church from the late 15th century, with a walled-up portal and a granite bowl of a font in front of the entrance.
The church in Budzieszowce, a village in Maszewo municipality, is a small stone church from the 15th century, entered in the heritage register. Zabytek.pl dates it to the end of the 15th century and describes it as Gothic. Today it is a filial church of the parish in Maszewo.
The church is an oriented hall building on a rectangular plan, under a gabled roof. The original portal in the south wall has been walled up. The present entrance, pointed, with a stepped brick surround, is in the west wall. Traces are visible in it of a wooden tower that once stood here. The east gable is decorated with blind arches, and the side walls have pointed windows set in plastered recesses.
Inside there is a wooden beamed ceiling, 19th-century pews and a wooden gallery on columns. In front of the entrance lies the granite bowl of a Romanesque font. Next to the church stands a modern, freestanding belfry with two bells. After the war the church was consecrated as a Catholic church in September 1946.
Nearby there are several similar village churches in Maszewo municipality, including the church in Mosty and the church in Maciejewo. It is about five kilometres from here to Maszewo.
