A parish church from the 14th century, rebuilt in the 18th century and remodelled in 1907-1909 in the Neo-Baroque spirit, with an 18th-century pulpit.
The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Chłopowo was, according to the encyclopaedia entry, built in the 14th century. Destroyed together with the village during the Thirty Years' War, in 1627, it was rebuilt in the 18th century. Its present appearance is the result of a thorough remodelling in 1907-1909 in the Neo-Baroque spirit. The heritage register dates the building to the 18th century.
Built of brick, single-nave, with a transept and a chancel closed on three sides. In the west part of the nave body a tower is set, with a spire topped with a lantern, decorated with pilasters on the second storey.
In the church a choir gallery with an organ case and an 18th-century pulpit have survived. The former, incomplete altar triptych from the second half of the 15th century was moved to the National Museum in Szczecin. After the war the church was consecrated as a Catholic one, on 16 December 1945. It holds relics of St Faustina Kowalska.
