The building is entered in the heritage register (entry from 2007), and the register dates it to the third quarter of the 19th century.

Architecture

The church was built in the 19th century on the site of an earlier 15th-century church. It is a brick building on a stone foundation, in the Neo-Gothic style, on a rectangular plan, with a separate chancel closed on five sides at the east end. The roof is a gable roof covered with ceramic tiles. Above the western part of the nave rises a square wooden tower of frame construction. The interior has a wooden beamed ceiling.

After the Second World War, on 1 September 1945, the church was blessed as a Catholic church.
