An octagonal filial church from the first half of the 19th century in Trzynik, formerly a palace chapel, rebuilt after a fire in 1996.
St Casimir's Church in Trzynik, in Siemyśl municipality, is a masonry church from the first half of the 19th century. It formerly served as a palace chapel, and today it is a filial church of the parish in Siemyśl.
It was built on an octagonal plan, with a separate chancel closed on three sides. The masonry walls of the octagon recall the building's original function, as the church was built as a chapel by the palace. The church was destroyed by a fire on 21 January 1996, and the reconstruction lasted until 2008.
The churchyard was a cemetery, first a family one, later a village one. It is overgrown with old trees, among them lime, oak, spruce and individual beech and elm trees. A boulder commemorating those who fell in the First World War stands here. In the area also lie Lake Kamienica and the palace in Kamica.
