Half-timbered church of the early 18th century in Przytoń, with a Baroque altar of 1707 and bells of the 16th century.
The Church of St Mary Magdalene in Przytoń, in Węgorzyno municipality, was built in the early 18th century in half-timbered construction on a stone foundation. It is a branch of the parish in Węgorzyno.
The building stands on a rectangular plan, with a five-sided closure at the east end. Small, square windows are set high under the eaves, and the entrance leads from the south. On the west side stands a low, freestanding wooden tower with two bells of 1582 and 1592. The cemetery around the church is enclosed by a stone wall, and a memorial to those who fell in the First World War stands on it.
The ceiling is wooden and beamed. The gallery, font and pews are made of wood. The most valuable item is the Baroque altar of 1707 with four columns and sculptures of saints and angels, with a picture of St Mary Magdalene in the centre. The former candlesticks from around 1600 and 1678 have been lost. After the war the church was consecrated as a Catholic church on 22 July 1946. Nearby lies Węgorzyno.
