A half-timbered church from the 18th century in Podańsko, formerly Lutheran, with a Romanesque font in front of the entrance.
The church in Podańsko is a small 18th-century church built in timber-frame construction, that is, half-timbered. It was originally Lutheran, and since 1946 it has served Catholics as a filial church of the parish in Goleniów.
The church has a rectangular plan, and to the west a tower that is older than the nave itself. A shared pyramidal roof covers the church and the tower. In the second half of the 19th century the church was rebuilt and the pointed-arch windows that can still be seen today were put in at that time. The heritage register gives half-timbered construction as the material and limits the dating to the 18th century.
The interior has kept elements of its Neo-Gothic furnishings: an altar, a pulpit, a choir gallery resting on two posts with an organ case, and pews. The organ has been vandalised. In front of the south entrance stands a Romanesque font measuring 63 × 95 cm. It shows that a medieval church had stood in Podańsko earlier.
