In the third quarter of the 19th century it was extended, and in 1905 a square, two-storey tower with an octagonal spire was added on the west side. On either side of the chancel are two annexes.
The ceiling takes the form of a wooden barrel vault. Of the 19th-century furnishings a neo-Gothic pulpit on an octagonal post, the altar table and the pews have survived. The organ case from the gallery was converted into an altar superstructure. In the chancel windows are three stained-glass windows from the late 19th century, endowed by Karl von Flemming. The church was consecrated as a Catholic one on 8 May 1952.
