A lake in the Drawsko Lakeland with two bathing areas, a quiet zone, islands and a 38.9 km cycle route around the shore.
Lake Siecino is a lake in the Drawsko Lakeland, in Złocieniec municipality in Drawsko County. It has an area of 729.7 ha, 23 km of shoreline and a depth of up to 44.3 m, and its waters are classed as first-class purity. The Rakoń River flows through it.
There are two islands on the lake: Ostrów (30 ha, linked to the shore by a causeway) and Kępa (18 ha). Two summer inland bathing areas have been designated at Siecino: the “Gęsia Łączka” beach in the eastern part of the lake, in the village of Cieszyno, and a beach on Ostrów island. The dates of the bathing season are set by the bathing area's manager. The lake is among those most often chosen by Polish divers because of its good diving conditions.
A quiet zone applies on the water, with a ban on petrol and diesel engines. You can see cormorants, mergansers and goldeneyes here, and among the fish vendace dominates, and there are also pike, bream, tench and perch.
