Glacial lake with a peninsula with a campsite and holiday centres in the village of Zdbice.
Zdbiczno is a ribbon lake on the Wałcz Plain, in Wałcz municipality, west of the village of Zdbice. Wikipedia calls it the second largest lake of this plain, after Lake Wąsosze.
The area of the water surface is from about 220 to 276 hectares, as measurements differ. The average depth is 5.9 metres and the greatest 29 metres. The lake has an elongated shape typical of ribbon lakes, steep shores and a strongly developed shoreline. From the north a peninsula more than 2 kilometres long cuts into it. In the south the Zdbica River flows out, and by watercourses the lake is connected with lakes Dobre, Głodno and Smolno.
There is a campsite on the peninsula. Holiday centres and campsites also stand in the village of Zdbice itself. In the area, about 2 kilometres from the lake, is the open-air battle museum of the 1st Polish Army in Zdbice.
