The ruins of a pilgrimage church (the Jerusalem Chapel) on Wyszkowo Hill above the Rega, on the site of a former Premonstratensian nunnery.
The church on Wyszków is the ruin of a late medieval church on Wyszkowo Hill (formerly Wischower Kirche), above the Rega River, within the boundaries of Trzebiatów.
The Wikipedia entry on Wyszków states that in 1235 a Premonstratensian nunnery, Marienbusch, was founded on the hill by the Pomeranian duchess Anastasia. The nuns lived here until about 1285, and were then moved to Trzebiatów. The parish in Wyszków is known from 1291. In the late Middle Ages a pilgrimage church known as the Jerusalem Chapel was built on the site of the convent. From the 19th century it served as a branch church, and after 1945 it fell into destruction and devastation. These statements in the entry have no footnotes.
On the top of the hill the ruins are surrounded by old trees, and the slopes are covered with turf with warmth-loving plants.
