A parish church in Sulimierz from the second half of the 18th century, with a tower with a Baroque spire, a wooden gallery and a Baroque altar.
St Adalbert the Bishop and Martyr's Church in Sulimierz (Myślibórz municipality, Myślibórz County) was built in the second half of the 18th century and rebuilt in the 19th century. It stands in the centre of the village and is a parish church listed in the heritage register.
Built of brick on a stone foundation, the single-nave building has a rectangular plan with rounded corners and is oriented. The side façades are divided by pilasters, and the north and south walls each have two rows of windows. A square tower with a Baroque spire with a lantern and clock faces adjoins it on the west. The encyclopaedia entry describes the style as Classicist, the heritage register as Baroque.
The interior has a flat ceiling supported on pillars and a wooden gallery, reached by two pairs of stairs in the corners. Above the entrance is an organ case. From the 18th century a wooden Baroque altar, columned and polychrome, has survived, as well as pews decorated with polychrome ornament. After the Second World War the church was consecrated as a Catholic one on 20 January 1946.
Nearby stands the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Giżyn, about 2.5 km from here, and further on lies Lipiany with the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
