Brick church of 1923, funded from the contributions of Polish farm workers and the Bonifatiusverein fund.
St Boniface's Church in Barlinek is a brick church of 1923, built for the local Catholic congregation from the donations of Polish farm workers and the fund of the “Bonifatiusverein”. An altar triptych of the 1920s has survived in it.
The church was consecrated on 19 December 1923. Before 1945 it belonged to the Diocese of Berlin. Built of brick, it stands on a rectangular plan under a gable roof of ceramic tiles, and the four-sided tower is set into the nave body at the east. The interior is covered with a wooden beamed ceiling. At first, after 1945, the church came under the parish of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Barlinek, and in 1978 an independent parish was established. In 1993 the church was extended with a chancel at the west.
From the 1920s comes an altar triptych with an image of Christ and of St Boniface and St George.
In the town, about 800 metres from the church, is the Regional Museum in Barlinek.
