A former Protestant church from the 19th century, now a parish church, with Baroque furnishings and a pulpit from the early 17th century.
St Florian's Church in Postomino is a Neo-Baroque parish church, built at the end of the 19th century on the site of a burnt wooden church. It belongs to the Ustka deanery of the Diocese of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg.
The present building was erected in 1882 (Wikipedia gives this date, while 1885 is given elsewhere). It has no separate chancel, and a tower was added to the nave. Until 1945 it belonged to the Protestants; after the war it was taken over by Catholics, and a parish was established at the church in 1973.
Among the older furnishings, a Baroque altar, a pulpit, a font, a group of Mary, John and Christ on the cross, and a late Gothic chalice have survived. Of particular value is the pulpit from the early 17th century, which was entered from the sacristy through a niche on the right side of the church. It is no longer used today.
Nearby, about 200 m from the church, stands the Palace in Postomino.
