A Neo-Gothic church from the 1870s, with a tower with a clock and bells from 1586 and 1716 moved from an older church.
St Thérèse of the Child Jesus' Church in Kołki, in Choszczno municipality, is a Neo-Gothic church from the 1870s. It was built in a different place from the medieval church, of which only the west wall remained.
The church is built of brick, split stone and granite ashlar, on a rectangular plan, with a chancel closed on three sides. The body has large pointed-arch windows in doubled brick reveals. On the west side stands a slender square tower with a clock and a pointed spire roof. The interior is covered by a wooden beamed ceiling, and above the entrance is a gallery with an organ.
The first church in Kołki was probably built in the second half of the 15th century, founded by the von Wedel family. In the mid-1860s it was in very poor condition and was demolished, and the west wall was secured as a permanent ruin. Two older bells were moved to the new church: one from 1586 and one from 1716. It was consecrated as a Roman Catholic church on 3 October 1945. The church is listed in the heritage register.
