Red trail from Szczecin-Głębokie through Wkrzańska Forest to Trzebież.
The Wkrzańska Forest Trail named after Stefan “Tata” Kaczmarek is a red walking trail about 44 km long (45.5 km according to the description in Wikipedia). It leads from Szczecin-Głębokie through Police County to Trzebież on the Szczecin Lagoon. Its patron (1907-1974) was the founder and long-time president of the Szczecin Tourist Club “88” and a promoter of local studies among young people.
The trail passes the Owczary forester's lodge, Bartoszewo, Tanowo, Gunice, Węgornik, Lake Świdwie, Zalesie, Kniężyce, Piaskowa Góra and Lake Piaski, and ends in Trzebież. Along the way are lakes Głębokie and Bartoszewo, the palace in Zalesie, the ruins of the Kniężyce forester's lodge, a fire tower on Piaskowe Góry, and the port and beach in Trzebież with a church. Near the route lies the Świdwie Nature Reserve (about 5 km from the middle of the trail), and the Police Trail runs in its vicinity.
