“Frajda” Puppet Theatre presents “Dratewka the Cobbler,” a classic Polish fairy tale by Janina Porazińska. The hero is a modest traveling craftsman who, thanks to his good heart, empathy, and the help of the animals he meets, rescues a captive princess and defeats an evil witch.
The theatre's signature characters are the BajkoPtaki, two cheerful creatures who introduce children to the world of theatre and sum up the show at the end, drawing out its moral. The stage features mainly handmade puppets in costumes, and music matched to each scene plays an important role.
Practical information: the performance lasts about 40 minutes. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start.
