Don Vasyl Junior has been involved with music, singing and dance since early childhood. At age 4, he was already singing his first solo hits with his father's band, Czarne Perły. In 1999 he founded his own band, Vasyl Junior & Gypsy Stars, which first performed in 2000 at the International Romani Song and Culture Festival in Ciechocinek. Today he serves as the festival's music director.
He is a composer, lyricist and member of ZAiKS, and in 2014 he finished recording material for his seventh album of original songs. His concerts are staged as Romani spectacles with a play of lights, colours and sounds that invites the audience to join in the fun.
