The Royal Concert “Virtuosos at the Royal Court: From Mozart to Strauss,” also promoted as “Majestat Klasyki,” will take place at Ośrodek Kultury in Złocieniec on 20 October 2027 at 5:30 p.m. The evening is built around music of courts, balls and opera stages: waltzes, czardas and tarantellas, arias about love and passion, and playful musical interludes. It closes with Radetzky's March.
The instrumentalists are part of the BognaBand Royal Ensemble:
Vocal soloists from the group Maestri di Corte perform, including Marta Śpionek and Krzysztof Knapczyk. The latter is a tenor and actor who belongs to the ensembles “Pop Opera – from Opera to Musical,” “3 Sopranos – Fight for Love,” “Queen Symphonically” and “The Beatles Symphonically.” He has performed in Greece, Germany and the United States, and his project “Opera on the Street” has visited major cities around the world.
The announced repertoire includes works by Brahms, Beethoven, Chopin, Verdi, Puccini and Strauss. It features, among others, the hunting dance “Auf der Jagd,” Monti's “Czardas,” the aria “Nessun Dorma” from “Turandot,” “Ode to Joy,” Moniuszko's “Prząśniczka,” Mascagni's “Ave Maria” and Rossini's duet of the cats. The organisers note that this is only part of the programme.
