Interactive exhibition in Kołobrzeg with 3D paintings about former fishermen and special effects.
The 6D Museum in Kołobrzeg, called Maszoperia 1913 on its website, is an interactive exhibition at Rodziewiczówny 15, on the promenade by the Kielczanka centre. The walls are covered with about 500 m2 of paintings in 3D technique, and every guest receives 3D glasses.
The guiding theme is the story of the former Baltic fishermen and the legend of the net and the witch. Exhibits may be touched. Special effects operate in the exhibition: fog, scent, wind, soap bubbles and a moving floor. The tour is led by a guide, in Polish, German, English or Russian, who explains, among other things, what a maszoperia (a fishing cooperative), a szyper (skipper) and a checza (fisherman's hut) are.
Close by are the Kołobrzeg Pier (0.4 km) and the lighthouse (0.7 km).
