A Neo-Gothic parish church in Stepnica municipality, rebuilt in 1843-1859, with an organ from about 1860.
The Church of Christ the King in Żarnowo stands in Stepnica municipality, Goleniów County. It is a Neo-Gothic church with a three-storey tower, first mentioned in 1492.
In 1843-1859 the church was rebuilt: among other things the tower was put up and the choir was altered. A portal with a wimperg leads to the tower, which has a spire roof, and above the entrance stands a wooden gallery with a seven-stop organ built about 1860 by Friedrich Schulze. In the chancel, closed on three sides, stands a figure of Christ the King, and the windows have stained glass with scenes of the Annunciation and the birth of Jesus. The interior is covered with a wooden beamed ceiling.
A limewood sculpture of the Beautiful Madonna type from about 1430, which is today shown by the National Museum in Szczecin, comes from this church. The church was blessed after the war on 17 October 1945, and the parish was established in 1957.
