A half-timbered church from 1850 with a tower with an octagonal helm roof and a wooden cemetery gate, formerly Protestant.
The Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Cieszyno is a half-timbered church from 1850, formerly Protestant. It stands in Cieszyno near Złocieniec, a village about 8 km north-east of the town, on the southern shore of Lake Siecino. Today it is a Roman Catholic branch church of the parish of St Hedwig in Złocieniec.
In the lower parts of the church remains of an earlier building from the 18th century have survived. The tower has an octagonal helm roof, and by the church stands a wooden cemetery gate. The heritage register entered the church in 1960 and dates it generally to the 19th century.
The first mention of the village dates from 1572. In Cieszyno a palace park from the second half of the 19th century has survived, covering 5.5 ha, with specimen trees: laburnum, silverberry, Douglas firs and Lawson's cypresses. On Lake Siecino there are holiday centres, bathing places and water equipment rentals.
About 1.5 km south-west of the village lies the Torfowisko nad jeziorem Morzysław Mały Nature Reserve, established in 1965.
