Branch church with a Gothic tower of the 15th century (register: 14th century) and a neo-Gothic nave of 1863, with a Renaissance pulpit of the 17th century.
The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Marszewo combines two eras. The oldest part is a massive, square Gothic tower, which the Wikipedia entry on the village dates to the mid-15th century and the heritage register to the 14th century. In 1863 a brick nave in the neo-Gothic style was added to it on the east side.
The tower is entered in the heritage register, and the whole church is under conservation protection. Inside are a Renaissance pulpit of the early 17th century with figures of the Evangelists and a Baroque altar of the 18th century. The church was formerly surrounded by a cemetery.
The church is a branch of the parish in Postomino. It is 2.3 km to Postomino, and the St Florian's Church there can also be seen on the same trip.
