Baroque half-timbered church in Łoźnica, one of the largest in the region, founded by a provost of Kamień Cathedral.
The Church of Our Lady, Queen of Poland stands in the centre of Łoźnica, at the junction of the roads to Sobieszewo, Świętoszewo and Czermnica. It is baroque, oriented, and is among the largest half-timbered churches in West Pomerania.
The Wikipedia entry gives 1772 for the new half-timbered church built on the site of the old one, while the zabytek.pl entry dates the building to 1722. The founder was Bogusław Henning von Köller, provost of Kamień Cathedral, who came from this land and has his tomb here. Around the middle of the 19th century a burial chapel was added, now the sacristy. The three-storey tower has a pavilion roof and is narrower than the body.
In the chancel stands an altar with an image of Our Lady of Częstochowa, decorated with acanthus leaves and flanked by figures of angels. The choir gallery, resting on two columns, has an 18th-century organ case. There is also a baroque pulpit with a canopy. The church was blessed after the war on 25 May 1946.
In Łoźnica there is also the palace in Łoźnica.
