Stone parish church in Wapnica from the 13th century, rebuilt in the 19th century and restored from ruin after the Second World War.
The Church of St John Cantius in Wapnica is a masonry building of granite ashlar, erected in the 4th quarter of the 13th century. The village lies in Suchań municipality in Stargard County, and the church is entered in the heritage register.
It is a hall building on a rectangular plan. In the east wall are three pointed windows, and the middle one, taller than the others, is surrounded by three pointed blind arches. From the south two pointed portals lead into the interior, one with two steps and one with three, and above them round blind arches can be seen.
In the 19th century the windows were rebuilt and a tower with a pyramidal roof was added on the west side. During the Second World War the church was destroyed. It was rebuilt from ruin in 1980-1983, and on 30 April 1983 it was blessed by Bishop Stanisław Stefanek. Around the church the area of a former cemetery has survived.
