A stone church in Unieradz with a wooden post-framed tower and stained glass bearing the coats of arms of the former owners of the area.
The Church of St Michael the Archangel in Unieradz is a stone church entered in the heritage register. According to the Wikipedia entry it was built in the 13th century in the Romanesque style, and in the 15th century a tower was added. The heritage register gives a wider dating, 15th-16th century, so the exact age of the building should be treated with caution.
The church was built of fieldstones on a rectangular plan. The chancel is not separate and ends in a semicircle. The tower is of post construction, entirely wooden and boarded vertically, which sets it apart from the stone nave.
The church has stained glass with the coats of arms of the Manteuffel and Stojentin families from the 16th century and a brass chandelier with majolica from the 19th century. The building itself is entered in the heritage register under numbers 208 of 1959 and A-1077 of 2012.
