A neo-Gothic brick church in Stare Bielice from 1894-1897, with a tall tower, a bell from 1905 and a granite holy water stoup from the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries.
The Church of St Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr in Stare Bielice, in Koszalin County, was built in 1894-1897 in the neo-Gothic style as a Protestant church. It was consecrated as a Catholic one on 16 December 1945, and is a branch of the parish in Biesiekierz.
The church is oriented. On the east side it has a separate chancel closed on three sides and buttressed at the corners, and on the west a tall tower with a gabled roof and a spire. The building is of brick, and the heritage register dates it to 1894. Wikipedia gives the years of construction as 1894-1897, so the work lasted several years.
A bell cast in Szczecin in 1905 hangs in the tower. Inside survives a holy water stoup carved in granite at the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries, that is, older than the church itself.
The nearest large town is Koszalin, where the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary stands.
