A granite hall church from the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries in Piaseczno, on a hill, with a Neo-Romanesque apse and a crypt.
The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Piaseczno, in Trzcińsko-Zdrój municipality, was built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries of granite ashlar. It belongs to the parish in Warnice (Church of St Joseph the Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Warnice). It stands on a small hill in the centre of the village, as a hall building on a rectangular plan.
In the second half of the 19th century a stone Neo-Romanesque apse with a crypt was added on the east side, and the crypt is entered from outside. Above the west part of the nave rises a brick tower with a wooden superstructure from the second half of the 18th century. The west façade has a portal with three steps, the south one has two, and the side walls have three round-arched windows each.
The interior has a wooden beam ceiling, an 18th-century wooden gallery with an organ case and a Neo-Baroque font. A bell from 1717 hangs in the tower. After the war the church was blessed as a Catholic one on 15 April 1946. Not far away stands the palace complex in Stołeczna.
