Neo-Gothic brick church of 1911-1912 designed by Czesław Tarek of Koszalin, with six stained-glass windows.
The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Polanów was built in 1911-1912 in the neo-Gothic style. It was the first Catholic church in the town after the period of the Reformation.
The design was made by Czesław Tarek of Koszalin, at the request of the then pastor of the local Catholic community. The minister for religious affairs authorised the construction on 22 August 1911, work began on 24 October, and the foundation stone was laid on 10 November of the same year. The consecration took place on 26 March 1912.
The church is built of brick and covered with a gable roof, on which stands a small pyramid-shaped turret. Pointed arches can be seen above the windows and doors, and the ceiling is wooden. Six stained-glass windows were placed in the windows: IHS, Alpha and Omega, a cross with a crown of thorns, the veil of Veronica, the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Eucharist.
