Brick parish church in Mirosławiec: origins in 1543, rebuilt in 1721, neo-Romanesque tower of 1883-1885.
The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the parish church of Mirosławiec in Wałcz County. It is a brick, single-nave building with baroque elements and a neo-Romanesque tower.
The first church was built in 1543. After a fire in the town it was rebuilt in 1721, with baroque elements, by the von Blankenburg family. In 1883-1885 it was rebuilt, with the addition of a neo-Romanesque tower. The heritage register dates the present building to the 18th century and describes it as baroque.
On the west side stands a tower with a spire roof, on the north and south sides chapels, and on the east side a sacristy. The nave has a hipped roof with three slopes, and the walls have modest decoration of pilaster strips and cornices. Of the earlier furnishings a font and a music gallery from the 18th century have survived. Two Renaissance altars were taken down in the early 1990s because of their poor technical condition.
