A Neo-Gothic church from 1899 with stained glass, a triptych and a portal with a wimperg in Benice.
The Church of the Motherhood of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Benice is a Neo-Gothic parish church from 1899, originally built as a Protestant church. It was built by Rodenwaldt of Gryfice, and it stands in a village in Kamień Pomorski municipality.
This is a single-nave, oriented building on a rectangular plan, with a chancel closed on three sides and a gable roof. The vault is a rib vault, and the chancel windows are decorated with stained glass showing the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus. The high altar is a triptych with a figure of the Virgin and Child, and beside the chancel stands a wooden pulpit with a canopy in the Neo-Gothic style. The entrance leads through a portal with a wimperg with a bas-relief of the face of Christ. A tower adjoins the church on the west side; bells from 1589, 1698 and 1899 once hung in it, and today it holds a clock.
The church was blessed on 14 July 1945, and the parish was established on 31 December 1986.
