Brick and stone church from the turn of the 15th century in Barnimie, with a wooden tower of the 18th century and a Baroque altar of 1608.
The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Barnimie is a parish church from the turn of the 15th century, entered in the heritage register. It stands in the village of Barnimie in Drawno municipality, in Choszczno County.
The building was erected of fieldstone and brick on a rectangular plan as an oriented single-room hall. A chancel in the form of an apse was added to the nave from the east at a later date, and the east gable, which was given a Gothic form again and plastered, is decorated with pointed-arch and circular blind niches. In the 18th century a wooden, boarded, square tower with a slender spire topped with a cross was added to the west façade. The porch on the south side was added in the early 20th century.
The nave is covered with a wooden beamed ceiling, and on the west wall stands a wooden gallery supported on pillars. A Baroque altar of 1608, a 16th-century pulpit basket and two epitaphs have survived. The church was consecrated as a Catholic church on 22 October 1945. Nearby lies the castle in Drawno, about five and a half kilometres from the village.
